I hope you can help me answering that. It is pretty urgent as my front wipers are not working
Yesterday I disassembled the front wiper motor unit and cleaned it up but discovered that the plastic gearwheel is worn on one side. Hence this causes the wipers to stop during each rotation.
Now my question:
Is it possible to replace the wiper motor with another one from another Fiat model?
I searched the scrap car dealers in the surroundings but none has a fiat punto with front wiper motor available.
Probably I need to change the wiring on a Uno model (which I could get) to make it work on a Punto Mk1?
If this is not possible can I simply replace the plastic gearwheel from another make and model?
