Can anyone tell me if there is a rusting problem with the oil sumps as they are in line of fire for wet thrown up from road. Mine looks pretty rusty and looks like it should be replaced.
Will replace it myself but am not aware of any probs i might come across. Can anyone tell me if its a straight forward swop with a new gasket or a swine to do.

its easy job, no gasket though, just some bond stuff

Loctite gasket sealer.
With a big-ass 98 on the packet.
I did mine a little while back...easy job.
