Before I bought my car it had the Timing Belt & Tensioner replaced by Fiat. It's now done about 800 miles since that service and now the belt has started to make a 'squeaking/whirring' noise?? It does it most of the time, damp or warm, I've had the Alternator Belt + Tensioner and PAS Belt replaced yesterday, so it can't be these. The car has started to idle funny too and has also been hard to start first time, could it be the belt?

tried running it without the alternator belt fitted? just to see if its the alternator making the noise

it doesn't sound like its coming from the alternator, it's definitely coming from the timing belt.
