This is for the Punto geek of the year award:)

What size brake pipe does the Punto Mk1 use?
What threads and what size are those threads on the connectors that go from the brake line above the rear axle to the rear axle itself?

what a sad life i lead
but here goes

the male nut is an 11 mm fitting /female 13 mm and brake pipe is 4.76 mm outside diameter with wall thickness of 0.91mm

not to sure what you mean by standard --but if you are only replacing one section of a join then any new one you replace ,so long as its of the size i,ve mentioned ,will fit

this is the make i use ,sorry the picture isnt great but part number reads--PBNM 10--thats the 11 mm and --PBNF 10-- for the 13 mm, hope thats of some use, should be available from any motor factors

Thanks it helps :)
I'd try it under the recall but, I've just fitted a GT rear beam to my S and found that the gt beam I'm using has the mounts on the top not underneath.

I can't see FIAT going for that somehow(y)
Thanks all that has helped tremendously.
