the following question regards an 1998 mk1 fiat punto 3 door hatchback

ok when i bought my car i got it for £100 and it had a passenger side window smashed, the runners for the window is fine and ive got a new window for it, but im struggling to get it in.. i think it may be some glass thats stuck in the rubber seals but i dont know ive taken the inner door frame off and ive peeled back the plastic water seal to expose the inside of the door and i slotted the door in diagnoally into the runners and the bottom hole of the window into the clip but its very stiff going up and down and it comes out of possition when winding the window up..... it goes back diagonaly and it sounds like grinding

i will post pictures as soon as my hones got enough battery to take pictures

the window was bent back when somone tried to break into it before i bought it, its been bent back now to its correct shape but i think there may be runner damage

look on top side of window b piller side, you will se either a hole or a broken clip, thet needs replacing to keep window in place, about 30p from dealer
