Hello, I've been reading the forum for a while but just got registered. Earlier this year I bought a Fiat Punto 2013 1.4 Bifuel. Since I bought it, the mileage started flashing and B&M stopped working. Tried some cheap obd tools and apps with no solution and I decided to buy MES + a decent OBD dongle (OBDLink SX). As I read members' threads and posts I found out that I need a proxi alignment. Did it as soon as I got the dongle and MES but it failed. Error was something about Convergence unit and with a DTC Scan I got the following errors:

U1733-87 - Convergence Telematic Node (L1 and L2) - Missing message
B10AA-4A- PROXI configuration control - Incorrect component installed
U0019-87 - CAN line - Missing message.

Also in the CAN Setup it shows Engine Type 1.4 16V. Is that correct?

Any help is welcome, thanks in advance.

If the blue and me unit is faulty which is very common these days with the older cars, then just doing a proxi-alignment is not going to fix that issue. It maybe you need a new B&M unit or you need to remove the B&M unit from the car.

Hello Andy, thanks for your reply.

Coinsidentally I removed the module yesterday after posting and the blinking odo stopped after proxi. My other problem is the B10AA-4A error that said an incorrect component was installed. The code cleared too after proxi. Is it possible that the car had a wrong module in there? Online I found two sites that give OE numbers via VIN number. My module was 51944597 and in these sites I found that it was supposed to have 51902811. What module should I look for?
