Hi everyone! This is my first time on this forum so you'll have to forgive me if I do something wrong

I’m having a bit of trouble with my 2015 Fiat Punto easy. After a recent (small) knock on the front, my airbag has been showing as faulty when the engine turns on and my steering wheel buttons (for the radio etc.) do not work at all.

I feel as if the two are linked but I cannot identify the problem, I’ve looked at fuses, unplugged the battery, and not managed to figure it out. Any advice would be great.
