Just bought a 67 plate Punto as a second car but while its described as a Pop+ kit I found on cars built to this trim level the year before seems to have been deleted from the spec.

Unfortunately I didn't pick up on this until after signing on the dotted line. Bluetooth, voice control, phone connectivity, the usb port and outside temp reading on the dash are absent, though it does have a standard split rear seat

Would have probably looked for a slightly older example had I known, though the car I've got appears to have been very well looked after by its one owner and still in as new condition, so swings and roundabouts I suppose.

Had sort of expected it to be the same as older examples I'd seen/tested, so my error for assuming rather than checking; still a very nice car though and far better finished than some reviews would suggest.

If it was from a dealer and you can show it was advertised as a certain specification, but it doesn't meet that specification, then it was incorrectly described and they should refund you, or come to an arrangement on a partial refund or replacement vehicle.

Yes, it could be said you should check before taking the car away - but, especially with something like Bluetooth, you probably wouldn't try it with your phone until you got the car home.

(I had a Focus hire car a few years ago which had a phone button on the stereo, but that option was only enabled on higher spec cars, so even looking at the buttons doesn't help sometimes!)
