I am getting the following fault code p300 - 304 with the indication of any problems in the performance of the car.

Fuel injection system light is flashing (eobd system). Battery, ignition coil, leads and spark plugs replaced recently due to misfire but no indication of any problems now.

Local garage believes it is a system fault and not related to any mechanical fault. Says fiats are known for this. They have suggested going the fiat dealer but I do not want to be ripped off. I think it is related to the ECU but in truth have no idea.

Only other problem is the start stop doesn't work but this is not of a concern and hasn't been working for years with no effect on warning lights

Any ideas?

Link just rules out ingnition coil/spark plug/lead related issues. These have all been replaced. Any other ideas

That was found with the forums excellent SEARCH.

plenty of great posts to threads going back 15 years.

Not sure what device is showing those codes.

2 cyl misfire could be the coil driver in ECU.

Why were BOTH coil packs changed?


This is just a basic 8v engine..??
