For a while the stop/start feature hasn't worked, which i'm not too bothered about as i rarely used it anyway. However, recently I've been receiving the generic warning system fault light (exclamation mark in triangle) with the start/stop unavailable error message. It doesn't show immediately when the car starts but only after about 30 seconds to a minutes driving.
Lurking on these forums it seems to be a common issue with a lot of fixes being the old EFB battery. I've just now replaced the battery taking advantage of the 50% of all batteries on EuroCar Parts (product code: 444779051) rather than a garage charging me loads more.
Annoyingly the warning light and message is still showing :bang:
What else could be the possible cause - I've got it booked in at a garage tomorrow regardless because of the 'check running lights warning' showing although all bulbs working.. Any suggestions to have a look at first would be greatly appreciated!
