I put mine on the handles above the windows.

I have a scented pot freshener held on the middle of my dash with blue-tack.

Has anyone got any other places to hang air fresheners in the Punto which don’t involve hanging from the rear view mirror and restricting view?

Any preference which door. Looking to get the best benefit of the air freshener without restricting view. I’ve thought about hanging it on indicator stalk or gear lever?

It will make little difference the smell with travel around the car regardless of where you put it

Mine is hooked under the passenger footwell, and I always have fans on feet/face so it spreads the smell, and no ugly air freshener dangling about!

I think the one that’s in now is just wedged into a piece of plastic fascia near the bonnet release lever. Or hooked on the fan system underneath etc, just anywhere you can really. Can’t remember as it’s been in there for months now
