Since early spring my Start stop system hasn't functioned 
Thought as car is now 5 years old thought battery was past its best and ready for replacement, so was all ready for the purchase of a new battery before the winter.
Well no.....
Whilst doing something else recently i had the battery disconnected for over 20-30 minutes.
When went out in the car afterwards start stop was working but also working better than it had before:bang:
So if any one has issues with their s/s system disconnect your battery for a good 30 mins or so before reconnecting may well save you some pennies.
