Hi all,
I am new to the forum and I hope I am posting in the right section.
I have to register my punto 2012 twinair in UK (from continental europe) and I am required to change the speedometer to mph.
I don't think there is an easy way to unmount the whole instrument cluster and just replace the scale of the speedometer (at least I could not find anything online for more recent punto models, if anyone has any idea please let me know) so I was thinking to buy an instrument cluster from a car scrap and mount it myself.
The problem is that so far I have not found around any scapped twinair car. I have found though a scrapped 1400cc petrol car which has the same range for rpms and max speed. The question is: would it work to mount an instrument cluster from another engine size on mine? What is the worst thing that can happen? There is no way I could damage the car right?
Thanks a lot for the help,
Roberto
