so the key on our brand new punto is very tricky to turn in the igntion..is this normal? it feels VERY cheap and like it will only get worse?? also there is no "accessory" position? just off/ignition/start???

also is there any way to get the dash display to default to something other than the radio station frequency? (thats what the stereo display is for, surely??) id like it to default to the trip or range without having to push the trip button every time i turn the car on

If it is brand new I'd suggest the first question is for the dealer. The key should not be tricky to turn. On the second, both my Croma and the wife's Ford default to the radio display. On the Croma the first push of the trip button brings up the last used trip "page" so at least you don't have to click through to what you normally use.

It should tell you how to do this in your owners manual. If not, it'll be in the menu using the buttons by your knee. Have a fiddle through the options and see what pops up.
