I presume you mean the row of buttons above the stereo?

On my 1.2 Easy+ the buttons are as follows from left to right:

1) City function for the power steering. In normal driving when the button is not illuminated the power steering is in its normal state. When pushed, button illuminates and a CITY symbol appears on the instrument cluster;

2) Button has a key symbol which allows you to lock and unlock the doors from inside the car;

3) Third button in from left on mine I am pretty sure has no function;

4) Large hazard warning switch in centre;

5) ASR button (immediately to the right of the hazard warning switch). Turns the ASR function of the stability control off;

6) This is the last button on mine (one closet to the driver) and again pretty sure it has no function;

7) This has no button but tells you about the airbags and I think will be illuminated if the passenger side one has been deactivated (I stand to be corrected though?).

The handbook does list various buttons but not everyone is applicable to the UK market as the books are written for various markets around the world.

Hope this helps.

Any idea why we no longer get the Eco button function on the dash?

Hi Matt, do you mean the Stop/Start button when referring to the Eco Button? I've never heard of an Eco Button on any Punto model.

What I mean is the Eco function. It's shown in promotional material for the mk5 Punto and also in the owners manual.
