The warning light for light bulbs on my sisters 62 plate Punto Easy comes on now and again but none of the lights appear to be gone.

Any idea why or what could fix it?!

Bad contact whit a bulb / end of life bulb.

The error appear when you put what on ?
Try to start the car with all off, put on position light, wait 10 sec, put main lights, wait 10 sec, try brake, indicator, etc... until you have light on. So you determine which "group" of light is wrong.

Mine does this too, it's seems only to have hapenned on foggy / misty cold mornings though.

And was you able to determine which group can be affected ? (as I described above ? )

Nope. I've turned off my DRLs so wonder if it's them. I did have the LED strip fail on the meat side rear light cluster however it has done it a few times since this was repaired.

I think I turned the DRL's off (as they're more like lamps than the nice bright white DRL's that I associate with the term DRL!) but I'll check when I'm next home.

I also should have been more specific in my original post- the light comes on when we turn the engine on. Rarely, but it happens. it doesn't come on 'mid-drive' but if it comes on, it doesn't go off until the engine is turned off.
