Was able to get 5 bags of shopping and some sports gear in the boot, so surprisingly functional.

Car does show the light related to ESP staying on for a few seconds (but no ASR off button), and also does have Blue and Me, which is working well.

Also came with a few features I wasn't expecting. The thin bead of light on the passenger side dash (Ambient Light?) and the Change Gear suggestion on the control panel. Also has daytime running lights.
Thanks for your feedback !
Nice your are happy with the Punto ! Yes is a great car, and good value for money. Since Evo, DRL and gear change suggestion is standard for all Punto.

Ambient light is nice too, but I am surprised that on an Easy version, a little "plus"

When you have the car, I hope you post some pics under "members motor"

Hi again,

Just posting this in the hope that it will save someone a bit of hassle in the future.

Turns out the car doesn't have ESP after all. The dealership (not a Fiat one!) sent me an image of the Generic Warning light (to the right of the temp gauge), and not the ESP light (on the speedo). Confusingly, the two lights look much the same, the difference being that the ESP light has a little 'wrapper' around the triangle and exclamation mark.

They offered to buy the car back from me, but in the end we agreed on a refund of a little of the purchase price, so no harm done.

Cheers,

Keith.

Hi again,

Effectively, the symbol we talk is near ABS, not the general warning on the top of dash.

Your dealer looks nice, its a good thing to arrive to an arrangement.
So you should have the car next days ?

Yes, the dealer has been reasonable.

I've had the car for a few days now. Like it a lot.

Re: Help with 2014 1.2 Easy specification!

Hi there,

New question. Car came with a punture repair kit. Would prefer a spare wheel. I assume the punture repair kit and its bracket just lift out, and a spare fits in the gap left behind? Does a full size spare fit, or do I need to look for a space saver? What size of spare wheel do other 2012+ owners have in the boot?

Hi there,

Been offered 4 alloys which are 15x6.5J.

These are Wolf Race Asia Katana 15" alloy wheels. 5 spoke, 4 stud.

I'm more than a little clueless - will these fit my Punto?

Been told they came from an old Bravo.

My thought is I could have winter tyres put on them, and then I'd just keep one of the 4 summer tyres in the wheel well, and swap them all around as required according to the season.

Cheers.

if they came off a bravo then no, the PCD is different. You would need wobble bolts at the very least.
