There is currently an epic thread on the 500 section where people are having some serious issues with the throttle response in their 1.2 versions when pulling away in first gear, and particularly on hills too.

This problem has also appeared to a lesser extent on the new Panda too; not quite so many people have complained so far, but still a few.
However, the same 1.2 engine is of course available in the Punto, but to my mind there haven't been any complaints like that on here?
I am not sure if the 1.2 engine in the Punto is Euro6 compliant or not (this is apparently what the problem is down to, although no-one really has a 100% definitive answer yet). If you have bought one in say the last 6 months and you are having issues like those described on here, would you be able to give your experience too?
