Any idea why the holes/rivets for fitting universal roof bars are pre-drilled at the front but not at the back on a 2012 5 door GBT?? Is this a money making scam by fiat? Thanks.

NOT checked mine.. but I know the focus are pre-drilled then filled + painted,
have a careful "dig" to see if there IS a hole + thread ; - }

my roof rack didnt use the fixing points. just camped onto the body work.

plus if its a 3 dr it wont have the rear holes as it clamps to the window surround

Hi, just an update if you are thinking of fitting a universal roof rack to your 5 door punto, mines the 2012 gbt.
There are no pre-drilled fixing points on the rear sides, behind the framework, only pre-drilled on the front sides.
Drilled mine and fitted a pre-drilled plate and pot riveted to the framework.
