Click to expand... interesting question.., I suspect it's just held on with a sticky goo.. so warming thoroughly should let you carefully peel it off, ask in the GP section..as sombody will have debadged the same tailgate.. charlie

If it is not too old, you will not have paint difference. Use hairdryer to warm the part; with a heat gun you have to be careful or set it at low temp, or you will toast your paint.
