Since 2008 I have owned a Fiat Stilo in Spain which has been faultless. I have just purchased a 1.3 Diesel Punto direct from Fiat for use here in the UK. Really pleased with the spec and the finish. Fuel consumption so far nearly 70 mpg.

I brought it new and so far it has done 340 miles. Great bit of kit. You can even talk to it and ask it to dial out a number by name. "call Ben". Tells you when a text message comes in and speaks the message. Tells you when you ought to be changing gear. Cruise control. Individual climate control etc.

Time will tell but I brought a secondhand Punto for my grandson and he has had it for three years and so far apart from servicing he has only needed to get the heater blower fixed.

As I said I have a Stilo in Spain which I brought with 7.5K miles on it (nearly new) and again apart from servicing I think I have spent just 25 Euros on it in nearly 6 years

Hi Derek,
my twinair Punto is obviously a very similar spec,

they are great,
I'm sure you'll keep on loving it,
mines 370 days old, and got almost 10K on now,

On a very much older note, I drive a 2004 Punto 1.2 8v which I've had nearly 4 years, and I still absolutely love it. Fiats are criminally underrated and overlooked.
