Hi,

We have just upgraded our 2004 fiat panda active for a shiny new punto twinair. It only has dealer miles on so its practially brand new!!

One question (actually, it'll probably turn into more than one!)

It has rear tinted windows, am I correct in thinking these are an upgrade?

If they are an upgrade, are they part of a pack of upgrades (brio or something?) or do they come as a standalone upgrade?

Thankyou!

I think they are standard on the GBT (maybe sporting as well?) but I'm sure you can get them as an extra on any trim level if you truly wish ;)

So yes I suspect the same as MEP that you have a factory fitted extra

Worked out they come as standard on the twinair version we have.

Another note does anyone know if we can go back to fiat and get parking sensors fitted?

Thanks

I would imagine they would say no, but I dont know for sure so no harm in asking them at least (y)

I would also imagine if they say yes they would force you to buy new bumpers rather than just drilling holes in them, regardless the bumper will need to come off and it might be a fair bit of work!

I know someone who had them fitted on their ford focus titanium after they purchased it.

Where would be best to get them done/how much roughly?

We don't want black ugly ones on our nice new bodywork :(

They will do it, but it'll cost a f**k load more than you'll be prepared to pay.

For example, I wanted the factory fitted fogs on a pre-reg i bought. £179 for the fogs inc fitting... but they then would want a further ~£600 for a new wiring loom, fitting, changing the switch panel, and programming it into the computer.

My advice... if you think you're about to hit something, get out and check !

hi , the STOCK level of Twinair is supposedly GBT -spec,
however as your's is GREEN.. it will probably have little skirts / spoiler , and Tints as well,

saw a few in this trim when I was looking to buy mine,
nice choice, (y)

I've got the rear sensors - more of a hindrance than a help in my book.., (n)( 1st car to have them),
I certainly wouldn't pay more than £200 for them , as that's what a rear respray would cost..!!

Thanks- we're loving it! Such a lovely bright green colour and really is very striking :)

I think the main reason we need parking sensors is the fact we have four (soon to be five) cars in the household and a very narrow driveway!

:)
