Thinking of buying a new Punto Jet Black to replace our 2008 Grande Punto stripe. Anyone got one yet? What do you reckon?

Been for a viewing and a test drive and seems like a nice car but looks a bit 'dowdy' compared with the sparkling blue stripe. I guess it's just quite different but currently undecided.

Don't particularly like the 17" alloys it comes with so might want to change them for aftermarket replacements.

Hi Brian....
Just picked ours up!.... The Mrs picked her 500 S up 3 weeks ago, and after having drove it ,ummm quite a few times, we decided to change mine to a "bigger version" of hers!... Its a very easy drive , decent spec ( Rear Park, Cruise Control, Tinted Glass, Blue n Me etc)
The Matt Black Stripe down the car is a nice change from some of the "in your face" stripes that are out there :)
The 17" alloys, though, IMHO finish the car off :)

Here's some pics !

Thanks for feedback. We're going to look at it again tomorrow, this time one that has been polished and prepared for the road. Decision time!

I am also thinking of purchasing this car. I feel like it looks a little young for me though but i cannot make my mind up?

When you speak about discount, what do you mean?

There's nothing wrong In looking 'a little young' .... Rather than driving a Volvo and looking old :) .....
The Matt black stripe down it, is rather subtle and most of the time I dont even notice it.. Other than that... For the Spec - The value for money is great
I've had mine aprx 6 weeks and covered 2000 Miles already... A trip to London last Friday added over 500 :) averaging 42 mpg.. Coming from a 2.0T engine that did aprx 28/30 , Hapoy Days :)
I can thoroughly recommend!
And yes Discount is available off the 12k price tag.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I do like the car, I have a white punto evo 1.4 at the moment and the deal is due to run on in September. I have pretty much double the amount of miles I was "allowed" to do.

What type of discount are available?

I certainly wouldn't worry about miles... From previous personal experience of PCP.. I have never contracted more than 5k per annum...for the lower price.. I have always done around 10k... But when you Part ex, or simply buy the car out-right miles dont really matter... Obv if you were to return the car, ha then you'd be liable for the extra..
I got 1500 off :) the dealer ended up phoning Fiat 3 times to get it.... And we had just bought a near 15k 500 S three weeks so that must have helped :)

Good News! Value for Money, it takes some beating :)

Got the car yesterday. Loving the climate control and parking sensors.

Drives pretty much the same as the last one but feels slower. Do not know what bhp is.

What mile to the gallon does it usually get?

Parking, n Climate  yeah as said, Spec is great.
A whole Seventy Seven Horses.... :banghead: so yeah, in comparison to my old car, Saab 93 with 150 horses....... And even in comparison with our other new car, the Mrs got a 500 S in Black thats a TwinAir with 85 bhp..
She now is very proud of having a quicker car than me... Hey Ho...
Needs And Wants....

if any1 wants to sell their alloys from a jet black im interested cause fiat say they dont sell them also seperately from the car, they also said if one buckles or breaks they cant replace it, i have the 17 inch sporting ones but not the multispoke ones, and i really want them:)
