Technical Sensor on dash

I have just bought a 1.4 Punto Easy and at the front of the dash/fascia there is a sensor located just beneath the screen. The cover is missing on mine; the dealer said he has ordered a replacement. Does anyone know what that sensor is?

Climate control, it'll only be a sensor if you've got it, failing that it'll be a blanking cover
