Hi People,

I own a Fiat Punto 1.2 (2012) easy which I have only brought a couple of months ago brand new. The problem like it says in the title is with the car jerking when it is cold. The car has only done 1000 miles so I can't see why it is doing this The problem only occurs between first and second gear, then after a while it seems to be ok. Any advice would be useful.

Thts defo a strange one m8ty?. I have a punto 1.4 GBT it's a 62 plate and as urself would expect a brand new car not to have any issues? Usually an older car that judders when cold is the car having an issue with getting enough fuel to perform. Lik when ur about to run out of fuel it'll judder thn jst die. Maybe it's the same thing? Ur car possibly not receiving enough petrol through the injectors upon start up after a long period of being offline? Just a theory bud. ? Hopefully u can resolve the issue.

check plugs and leads chances are its damp on the leads plugs or coil pack (under air box)

Thanks for the reply guys, im going to take it to the Fiat dealer sometime this week or next week to let the mechanics have a look at it. I just hope it isn't anything too serious
