Anyone have the "Zip functionally pack part of the Flex pack Code No. 6WC " ?

Hi all,
Bought my New 2012 Panda in April. It arrived in June and I love it !!! (Red with sand interior)

I loaded the car with several extras including the "Flex pack" Code no 6WC which included the 'zip functionally pouch" which zips onto the back of the drivers seat. It is now August 2012 and I still have not received the pouch. First the dealer said that they had yet to be manufactured .... then they said Fiat told them they had sent it, but the dealer says they had not received it.

Does anyone have one on their car ?
Or have actually seen one.
My dealer had never actually laid eyes on one. Do they exist ???

I brought this up with Fiat and they are "looking into it...."

It seems very strange that a standard component is missing out of a pack.

Thanks for your input. (y)

Haven't got it to hand, I'm afraid: but, as I remember, in the accessories brochure, it said something to the effect that this wouldn't be available until later in the year. Sorry...

PS: Only remember this, because we ordered it, too; and had a discussion with our dealer about whether or not it would be ready by the time the car arrived....

Hi Homeward,
Thanks for that.
When do you get your car? You will love it. It's really fun to drive.

Ta! I know... -- the test-drive was wonderful...! :)

However, FIAT are having technical problems with the TA/Duologic combination (so we've been told...) -- which doesn't make an awful lot of sense to me: as it's been available in the 500 for ages; and they're delivering LHD ones on the continent... -- so "it will be November, at the latest" (and, today, it's exactly 14 weeks since we ordered it...). :(

See this thread for the full story. (Reads a bit like a bad soap....)

PS: Just found this, on an addendum slip, with the Panda accessories brochure:

Addendum
NEW FIAT PANDA ACCESSORY UPDATE – FEBRUARY 2012
The ‘Kit for Functionality Pouch’ part number 51930792 on page 13 of this brochure is now no longer available.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Might therefore be worth checking on the Fiat Accessories website as to its status....

PPS: Just had a quick shufty at the website... -- can't find the bloomin' thing. Time to have a heart-to-heart with the dealership, methinks....
:shakehead:

I'm not entirely sure Fiat knows what the hell is supposed to be in the Flex Pack!

When we ordered ours, I noted on the Fiat UK website that the Flex Pack was something like £400 (apologies if this is wrong), and yet I was able to get all of the main constituent parts for less than that by ordering them as separate options.

Have to say I don't even recall there being a zip pocket option available when we ordered ours. But who knows?!

Just call a call from my dealer, my Zip pouch is in!!! I pick it up Monday.

Thanks to all for your input. That's interesting about the pouch being, no longer available... I wonder where they 'Found' mine ? I would have been most annoyed to have a drivers seat with a zip down the back and nothing to put on it.... I did have to call Fiat in Italy to raise the complaint and get a reference number for the dealer so they could chase it up as an escalated complaint.

Also, just another observation, The mats for the new Panda have holes/eyelets in them supposedly to lock into the floor, but on the car there is nothing to anchor them to. Anyone else notice this?
