Hi All,
W reg punto power steering failed 5 times on a very cold morning, so AA towed it. I have been through related threads but need some helpful advice.
Fiat, Hampshire quoted £665
Nationwide quoted £900 (six hours labour)
Found a remanufactured one from BBA-REMAN for £185. Fiat will fit it with no guarantee for £123.
Will like to do it myself, if possible. Heard that I might need a torque wrench.
I guess my question is Anyone done it themselves? What tools do I need?
I know it has to be recalibrated afterwards.
Please let me know.
