I will but the car will have been sold. Might get a car in the third year if I take a year in industry but this depends on whether my NCB will last until then (I think it usually last two years right?)

In 4 years time I will have debt coming out of my ears and a car will probably be in the distant future!

Well I will *hopefully* start a degree at UMIST (Manchester) in Chemical Engineering (Meng) and see what's best when I come out. Could end up in chem eng I guess or move into the financial field. Such a degree should leave me open to many possible jobs so will see how I feel in 4 years.

Ohh I get what you mean now. Am I not insuring for when I am home e.g. out of term time. I just don't think my family can afford it. I will be a first year and my sister is on her year out (Pyschology and French course) in Paris/Toulouse next year so pretty tight on money. (Accomdation in Paris is very expensive she has found!)

I don't think it would be worth it for half of the year although maybe I can bend my Dad's arm to let me drive his Scenic through the Summer's if I need it.

My lack of confidence with anything but a money spider could mean the spider job will have to be a full back plan....not such a bad idea about the spider killer but I reckon some silly animal liker would come and hit me over the head as if i were a spider. On the other hand, i'll go where the money is!

Oh and cheers cioccixx, not exactly cool but it's what I think I want to do. Always been into making things and chemistry is my favourite subject so putting the two together is a good way to go I hope.

well i got quoted 1900ish for a 55S suppose been 17 doesnt help but please its a 1.1. thats with tesco and norwich union charged me £2500 !

is that tpft is so try fully comp with a older named driver added it should bring the price down, norwich union for my son fc with my missis as a named driver was £1100 before pp discount he is 18 and has a 1.2 n**a what are usaly more to insure than a punto.
