Hi All,
I'm new here and would like to pick your brains over what appears a very common problem with Punto's. Along with a lot of others, my Airbag warning light is staying on and not cancelling out. I have read a few posts that say the most likely cause is the connection under the seat. My question is, can someone tell me exactly where this connection is ? Is it under the drivers seat, passangers seat, under the carpet of either etc. I have looked and damned if I can see and wiring at all !

plugs under seat are visable under seat and above carpet,wires usualy yellow, but only if you have side air bags in the side of you seats.also possible cause is the passenger air bag exclusion switch.but if it is not a grande punto ,if you fix the fault,the light will stay on untill it is reset by fiat,or garage with correct machine............

most likely is it needs loom upgrade, its about £5 at fiat

£5 is just for the part btw, so with diag and labour be about £30

Yeh, I realised that Dave. How could I possibly forget about labour costs, I drive a Fiat after all
