(y) so finnally its done its now sitting 35mm lower soo pleased:cool:

thought the garage woould have a problem getting the bolts loose on the front suspension because, i tried it with a fellow puntosportivo.com mate and we could not get them out  ....

but i sprayed lots of wd40 on them and 2 weeks later the garage had it and fixed in no time(y)

there is no problems with speedbumps so that great and it improved the handling aswell..

not the greatest pictures will post some better ones when its washed and all..better camera:idea:

also 2 pics of the audio .. im getting a new sub tho because the jbl blew yesterday.. but i wasnt liking it anyway

if you look closely you can also see ive changed the indicators..

Looks good (y) What springs/suspension kit did you go for?

Had our MK1 Sporting lowered 35mm on a Spax kit (y)

Like you say, definately looks better and handles better

Very nice. Just about right for me. What is the ride quality going just for springs over originals?

thanx

yeah as for looks its much better
and ride quality i would say its almost the same ..
i think handling is a lot better in corners .. and its just a litlle stiffer ride then the original springs..

like i said for the speed bumps no problems at all..

i think there great .. just needs to be tested with some friends in the back to see how it copes then (y) because im just a litlle woried about the plastic in the backwheel arches becuase it might rub when fully loaded.. .

what have you done with the indicators? looks like there slightly darker and got the ornage bit removed.

did u buy new indicators, or mod existing ones?

p.s. car looks hot. get those side strips off and mirrors/ handles colour-coded!

thanx i think it looks hot now too:D

with the indicators i have modded them myself i took the plastic cap off by cutting into it with a stanley knife and then taken the orange bit out and sprayed the inside in almost the same colour as the car .
for the lightbulb ive used a chrome light .. when its lit its orange
as for the side strips i dunno yet .. colour coded mirrors and handles are defnitley on my wanted list..

i am also thinking of spraying the smal vents in the front and back bumper in the same red as the sporting badge is .. and use that colour to paint the inside of the fiat badge on the bonnet too..

but not sure yet:rolleyes:

k thanks. I'll probably try and get something done with my indicators and get rid of the 'egg look'.

colour coding is easy enough to do. Give it a day's time t do properly, and will cost about £20 all in for paint.

Car would definately look better without side strips, but then you loose protection in car parks, so you gotta balance which is more important to you

nah the protection is more important to me i hate it when i come back too my car too find another! mark on it  gets me wild .. so its best too keep them on in my case :D

what do want to do with your indicators then?? ..
you can also put leds in them a guy from puntosportivo has done that and he used them leds that have 4 leds in it so it shines all around..

will probably try cutting out the amber section. If I mess it up, then will probably buy some smoked ones

yeah i did that too hardest part is too get the plastic cap off
use a sharp stanley knife too cut arond the back into the plastic and it will come off eventually the amber is either stuck on or just pushed in .easy to take out tho
