2002 51 Reg FIAT Punto 1.2

To quickly sum this up although I love how it looks, its possibly the worst car ever built! Point is I am stuck with it so onto ANOTHER problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically:

my heater went out in my car, I.e. I have no warm or cold air coming into my car to heat me up or clear the windows. At first I thought it was my blower but well I checked and the blower is working fine, the circuit seems to be ok, but I don’t have (because there is no Haynes manual out for it yet apparently) a wiring diagram to see what say really(sp?) I would need to take out and replace without lets say setting off the immobiliser . Another thing it is doing, when I try to turn the heating on now, it turns my headlights on a dipped beam? My only logical reasoning for this is that it might be drawing current from a common earth?

Anyway any sort of help would be totally appreciated as to be honest its getting beyond a joke now and it can be rather dangerous driving in the rain,

Thank you so much for your reply, though I don’t actually see much deatil on what has to be done.
