Hello all, well engine went after 2 weeks of buying my mk 2 1.2 punto sporting i know should have had it checked but the prick who sold it to me gave me a fake slip from a mechanic saying every thing was sound.. ANy way yeah driving home and its gone,. rac come and whole bottom end has seized.. spoke to a few garages and they quoted silly prices £650 was best for full strip down, luckly a family friend owns a fiat garage so he said he would put a new lump in fully fitted and every thing for 350 with 36 on the clock couldnt complain hey.. Every thing is great now and its so fun to drive.. But it does seem a little lumpy on tick over.. Revs move up and down a small amount. Asked the girlfriend if she could notice and she had no idea what i was on about.. Just wondering if this is normal or shall i take it back up as its got a 6 month warrenty? Sorry for huge message.. Oh and i put a k and n induction kit and engine now sounds a little louder at stand still is this normal?? I thought it might be as i have removed a huge air box off the top of the engine! sorry again but help would be great! :worship:
