yoyo's and lollipops

This is the second time the flexi part of my exhaust has developed a whole hole in it. Is there a cheap effective method tof repairing this part of the exhaust? such as wrapping something around it or putty.

Also........since i had my head gasket replaced there has been a strange continious *chh* noise coming out of the engine whenever i accelerate. The mechanic only changed the gasket and did not skim the head as he said it wasnt neccessary as i stopped the car just as it overheated

Check your gearbox mount if this is worn or broken it can cause the flexi to break.

flexi pipes pretty naff cant stress them and if the cars low can go through plenty not fixable really..

the 'chh' sound maybe exhaust manifold gasket blowing check for fumes under bonnet
 
well how should i repair the flexi downpipe? are there solid pipe downpipes you can buy as replacements? or a later models exhaust i can use?

The 'chh' sound come to think of it sounds like a loud spraying sound. When i put my foot down hard on the accelerator and go above 4000 revs that sound starts. Im thinking the spraying sound could be the injectors.

any advice?
