Hi Guys,
Just a little question..... the air inlet pipe between the air filter and resonator is split and therefore needs to be replaced. I fortunatly have an identical engine which I used to remover the other pipe from and the circular clips securing the air pipes are very easy to get off... but i just cannot see how you get them back on!!
they secure the pipe from the filter, inlet for resonator, and a few other connections to the engine, but don't want to take them off if I cant get them back on!

I have tried pulling one end of the clip with pliers to try to pull the notch into place, but it is just not possible.

youve got no chance mate sounds like you have the clips that are put on with a tool, you will have to replace them with screw type clips,
