fiat punto 1.2 75sx recent head skim and gasket etc not been revving properly wouldnt go over 3000rpm so did a compression test today and the results were cylinder no1 was 230psi 16bar no2 was 230psi 16bar no3 was 227psi just under 16bar no4 was 235psi just over 16bar
anyone know if these are ok

Usually if the results are close to each other that that is fine if it were HG etc you would expect to see one reading very differently,

if it is not reving have you tried the usualy suspects?

fuel filter, Coil packs, HT leads, crank sensor, map sensor tube, plastic bag sucked into air box (I actually have come accross this!) etc Check the things that have been or could be disturbed to remove the head

Not going over 3000rpm usually means its running in limp mode, get the fault code read.

Its a long time since I was repairing engines, but 230 psi seems rather high, but perhaps the guage is not too accurate. More likely that the cambelt has been fitted wrongly.
