had to change the cam cover/rocker cover gasket, unfortunately one of the bolts snapped when i undone it(n) but got that sorted in the end, but need a new bolt now.
but when i took the oil brether pipe off i dound a big brass rod all twisted up in it!! would love to know how it got in there!! but its more or less destroyed the pipe. where do you reckon i could get one for cheap?

also the cam cover is like a polised aluminium i spose, anyone know a good way to get this really shiny lol.

The twisted brass rod part is a flame trap, it is to stop a fire spreading between the hot oil of the engine and the air / petrol mixture at the throttle body end.
