I have a 2001 1.2 elx and have a problem where the abs is cutting in at low speeds i.e when manouvering etc. at normal driving speeds all appears to be ok. I have been quoted £850 by Fiat who seem to think it is the abs pump. I've noticed a few others on here who have had a similar problem but nobody has posted what the fault was, can anyone help before i consider parting with £850 of my hard earned!

mine was broken self adjuster on rear brake, it had fell to bits and was jamming up

Dont pay £850., get a secondhand one and you'll only have to pay the labour.,.,
