Does anyone know if these are worth it?

I would say its a waste really, as maps will be generic and not specific to you're car. Out of interest what car do you intend to use it on?

Its only really worth a remap if you have several modifications, an turbo diesel or an hgt where significant gains can be achieved with few modifications.

Although even then I would personally get an individual map (live), to ensure the best setup.

for £230 you'd be better getting angel tune round (they come to your house).

as they know their sht on each and every car listed on their site. and then take you for a drive before and after to see how you drive and how they can influence the new map to be good for you.


and unless you are a pro or can show some self restrant with the mapping machine I wouldn't go there. I know a guy on a US forum who had a bash at someone elses intergra typeR, managed to get the vtec coming in at 5200rpm (instead of 6200), but was running it way too lean, and burn't the valves and head

on a Turbo car (petrol or diesel) you can do A LOT more damage

If you do consider angel tuning then check if they can do a live map first, rather than a generic.
