Well hey hey hey
mk1 punto 60s

petrol smell -
after the car has been runnning for a while say to the shops, work or a mates there is a strong smell of petrol but the gauge is not going down ne quicker than normal so no idea about that

wheel noise-
there is a sqeeky noise coming from the front left wheel area but after about 10/15 mins of driving the noise goes no idea about that, but has normal grinding noise when i hit a bump in the road the wheel is hitting the arches!!! LAME

Brakes -
sometimes i have to double tap the brakes before they do anything, i can push the pedal all the way to the floor and then bring it back up again then press and works fine so no idea about that!

think its all going to be a garage thing but just wanna have some feed back what might be the case???

Petrol smell: The charcoal canister (fuel return system) is housed in the front drivers side wing. Pop the headlight and foglight out and make sure the pipes are secure (looks like a black tub).

Wheel noise: Could be a bearing?

Brakes: Sounds like you have a vacum leak. Would probably need a new servo.

well petrol thing is leaking from the pump which sorting out at the weekend and yeah i think its the wheel B

ill get the brakes looked at also at the weekend, not drivin her at the mo!
