Lost my radio when i disconnected the battery. Now it is asking for a code you can guess the rest lost card etc etc..
However i bought a radio code program stuck in the serial number and it provided me with a code of 2317
The radio input accepts the 2 3 1 but how on earth do you input the 7 with using the channel keys as advised in the audio manual?
Can anyone advise if the radio only accepts numbers from 1 to 6 ? thereby meaning my code generated by this program is wrong ?

any advise would be welcome....

Its a MK2 Punto with the low spec radio cassette (Wifes car now I have to talk to her on drives with the radio not working)

Ring the dealership it was originally sold from, they might have the code on there computer.

Was hoping to sort it on the forum..
It looks like it is going to be a phone call to the Fiat dealer In the new year and hand over the debit card to confirm the radio code via ISR

Thanks anyway

Wishing all forum members A Happy new year !!

I hope you are wrong as it would be seen as very sharp and naughty commercial practice. Surely, there is plenty of other ways for a main dealer to make a quick buck !!
But hey you may be right..

i dont know if this would work for your car but for mine u have to do the following-
switch on st by pressing power button

confirm code entry by pressing 1 button

enter first digit 2 as in your case by scrolling on the left or right arrows

confirm first digit by pressing the 1 button

and so on till you enter all four digits of the code.

this is the setup for the the standard fit radiocastte which came on the car

hope it works for u.

thanks for your replies and options
Life is to short to worry about a Fiat Blaupunkt radio..
So onward and forward new radio in the offing if I am to be overpaying for the ISR service from Fiat
still might be cheaper option than having to talk to the wife on her shopping ventures ..

Thanks for all your interest
