Hi,

Going to be tinging my lights tomorrow, and i've been reading threads and if the reflector isn't visible it will fail it's MOT?

Where about's is this reflector?

..and any advice is welcome.

Cheers Guy's.

Well I know the obvious reasons.

1) being Illeagal.
2) could get hit on a dark street.
3) could possibly fail the MOT.. as i've read in various other threads on here.

The thing I want to know is it actually in the lights on the MK2 I know it is on the MK1, or somehwere else on the body? Because i've seen nicely fully tinted MK2 lights.

Cheers.

mine are tinted mot man says i can see it so its a pass, it lights up ok with other cars lights as well, just dont go mad and do it too dark, you can get small ones and put them at bottom of bumpers if you get problems.

here's mine

It is illegal to tint your reflecters, but on my mk1 i have tinted them all but each year for the mot i stick on 2 little round bike reflecters then after the mot take them off again as for the police i havent been stopped yet for them!!! (y)

Well had a quick blast yesterday and they turned out alright, dark enough, but not really as even as i could have hoped for. Think i'm going to give them a second tinkering with (y)
