Im at 357miles for 39 pounds, filled up my tank from virtually nothing - Im gonna full tank it tommorrow again - I'm dangerously low!

Oh - topped up at 83.9 at Tesco's garage - on the lowest priced unleaded! :)

I like to get around 3.5rpm when changing gear - I hear that this is maxium torque so i change as soon as I hit 3.5. But on the motorway I average around 90ish in my punto that can't help!! :D Good efficiency though with 530!

440 is a regular when at home and bombing round the countryside.
300 is more like what I get when at uni, and sat stationary in traffic for a good half the time:rolleyes:

max I've got out of a 47litre tank in a mk1 was 515. it was as if the car had an extra 5-6l in it that it shouldn't have! (this was before light came on, so not talking abou that magic half litre in the filter and fuel lines

400 miles to a full tank about £40, mk1 1.2 16v Sporting (motorway run)

As for the GT i couldnt tell you, seen £10 off in 20 miles before now.

My best with my MK2 1242cc 8v was 535, but usually got 450+ before filling up, averaged 50mpg. I think the range is actually quite an important statistic - the better the range the longer between fills, the less wasting of time and fuel to call in at the petrol station.

I did get around 400odd in my last mk2 punto, but in the GT i'd be lucky to get 280 out of a tank...

haha, yep i've done that before..

Got bout 200 miles on £20 at 85.9p, but i do rag my car, and i have been doin alot of drifting.

must be something mucked up on my punto done like a full tank and only got about 200-250 miles on it ... i have only slightly been ragging it

MK2 1.6 16v punto 430 miles on a full tank mainly do motorways too at about 85mph, not to bad em thinks!

I'd say average of just over 500 for £35 - £38 depending on how much I leave in there, although I'm currently on 509 it seems since my last refil of £37.50 with no warning light on as yet.

town and country driving mainly - i get around 400 miles to a tank - 1.2 8v '03 active

i get about 425 in my mark1 punto and about 480 in the mark2 that we have. both are 1242cc but the (2001) mark2 must be lower geared as 60mph in the mark1 is approx 3000revs in the mark2 its about 2500.
