hi ppl back again!!
this time round its my heating!! before it started to become winter my heating didnt seam to be getting hot and slowly now has gone all together.
it just blows freezing air and is extreamly dangerous coz my windows steam up and i cant see!.

could it be sumthing to do with the water pump? asked my stepfarth look at it and said wen he felt the water pipes it was soft like no water was going through??

Also in the mornings when i start it, it seams to want to cut out. i let it tick over for a bit n wen i rev it it make a wistling noise lol...
if you need me info let me know..

the zo :)

Check your water level.

Try bleeding the coolant system.

Underneath your heater control knobs you have a slider, make sure this is set to the picture of the windscreen and the arrow going into the car.

As said above check your water level if low top it up with water and some coolant is the housings from the radiator warm at all after the engine has been runnin for 10mins at least they should be if not could be the thermostat has gone possbilty an air lock aswell... The noise is common had it in both my mk1 and mk2 some say its the tensioner some say its the alternater but really dosnt bother me cause its gone the time the car warms up well should be if your got it constant though get it checked out...
