oh dear.

5w30 oil (fully synth) should be OK in the puntogt's, it is thinner so will lubricate it sooner and from a lower tempreture.

sounds to me like piston rings have maybe gone, hence poor running an usage of oil.
seems quite common on them, REBUILD FTW

Re: problem with my turbo

Just been out in it with him, turbo is still booting but it seems to struggle to pick up, its smoking on idle alittle then not alot untill your on boost or letting off, looks like turbo seals, told him to clean the crankcase breather and pipe and to get a compression test done first so we can rule out piston rings or even pistons.

Re: problem with my turbo

Your puntos engine is worn out like most.. Even like mine. cams, pistons, valves every thing !!! rebuild it top to bottom or sell it to a fool we were all one once with this car !

only a manifold n turbo to get for me maybe rods too ???
