Hey guys,

I've got a Mk 1 55sx and im thinking about lowering it bout 35 mm all round. I was looking at just replacing the springs for now as im a student and can't afford the whole kit lol. You all know how it feels! :slayer: Ive found some springs on ebay by a brand called Jamex which I havnt heard of but still for the price they are looking pretty dam good. What do you guys think? Any Mk 1 owners got the car lowered 35 mm that could put pictures up so i can see?

Thanks a lot in advance

Theres someone on the forum with those jamex springs i think hes got 40mm though on his mk1 gt your standerd shocks should be ok with 35mm but theres people who run on 50mm on the mk2 punto with standerd shocks and they aint had any problems..

Thanks for that! Would it look stupid to still be on steelies tho? ive got the standard 13 with diffrent wheel trims which tend to look like alloys when rolling. Would my insurance be increased if i did lower it? If so how much is normal ? I'm 18 and just coming up to 1 year ncb.

Thanks
