Just finally bought my first windsurf board at the weekend and now need to transport it!

Does anyone know if I can get a universal roof rack on my Mk2 Punto 3Door, I know fiat sell them but they're not cheap!

I would recommend Thule Rapidfit (Swedish) roof bars from Halfords or any other good accessory shop. Use these, each time you change the car, you just buy another set of mounting feet, about £25 ish per set, much cheaper than buying new sets of bars each time. I use these on my 3 door 2001 Punto and have carried 3 kayaks on the roof.

I bought a set of Thule (Mk 1) bars 10 years ago for a Rover 400, used them also on a Cavalier Mk2, Vectra & Rover 600. I have carried a 5 metre open canoe on them on the roof of my Rover.

Thule bars are not cheap but they are very strong, adaptable to other cars and will last for years. Cheaper than buying genuine Fiat bars in the long run.

God advice. Don't get the Halfords sets. Some are ok but some are fiddly as hell and feel cheap and nasty.
