I know the clutches on the MK2 puntos are crap but mine has been ok up to 62K miles.

I have noticed a violent clutch judder when the car has just been started (cold mornings) when pulling out of junctions.

Is my clutch a gonna?

how much is a new one at a typical local independent garage?

Oh and finally should i get the Cam belt done at the same time (will this save me any money)?

Thanks

ive just had a full clutch put in my car for £163 from a garage but mines a mk1,and as for the cam belt if its not been done yet its prob due a new 1 at 62k

People are having alot of trouble with clutch judder on mk2 puntos it is a common fault on the mk2 1.2 8v & 16v it may require a new flywheel fitting when i got my new clutch for my mk2 it judders sometimes when pulling away or changing to second but its only intermitent anyway does your clutch pedal click when you press it down and release it..?

Edit: As jackyalex said if it aint been replaced get it done soon as you can if it is the 16v should have been done at 60k if its a 8v your ok but i would have still changed it before 60k also when change your cambelt change the tensioner also..
