Hi there, Im looking for some help with a problem. Ive got a 2002 fiat punto sporting. Problem is: Engine management light has been flashing and the car seems to be miss firing as the result of a fault that has taken place some where. If you drive the car and have it running at say a constant 2500 revs, the light goes off temporaraly, but start driving the car with gear changes and variable revs and it starts flashing again. The miss firing is most obvious when the car is idling. I took it to a non fiat test centre and they guy said the code that was showing up was P1135, but the machine could not reveal the fault for some reason and that Id need to take it to the main dealer. So basically, has anyone got any idea's on this error code?? or what might be causing this? One other thing is, over the last year the engine management has been coming on and staying on periodically, but has had no effects on the car. It would most likely go off when I filled the car with petrol too. This has been happening for the last year or so like I said, but dont know if its related. The missfiring problem and the flashing management light has just happened tho and is what I am trying to resolve at the minute!. Any help much appreciated. cheers

hi have the same prob on my punto sporting 52 reg but min takes ages to start and wen i put foot on accelerater it cuts out. aa man said the code error was p1135. brother in law is a machanic and he had a word wiv a friend of his who works for fait and its the accelerator position sensor. any ideas???
