Hey there first thing first great forum!
I have a P reg punto sporting in yellow i want to get the wheels powder coated in a dark grey with a gloss finish!but first i want to lower it!I am unsure of how low to go because i want it to look sweet but i want it to handle well!!!

Any ideas please people???

40mm *should* be fine just with springs, but your std dampers will go pretty quickly.

at a later date when the stock dampers go you could fit some uprated ones that match the springs.
60mm's great if you live on a perfecty level smooth race track;)

and beau, how do you know how they handle, your 16!!!

I lowered mine -40mm on a full g-max kit, improved the look and handling a lot,i also had GT3 alloys on before i got a set of 17's,here is a few pics, and now ive got the 17's the GT3's are in the classifieds!!(wink wink)
LOL

sorry couldnt resist!

The arches being rolled or not rolled wouldnt affect the tyres touching the top of the arches anyway,if your GT is lowered that much it would be wiser to stick a set of GT3 aloys on and it would look the biz!!

i have minimal cleareance on my arches, and if i have 2 people in the back it catches now and then, getting the correct offset would solve the rolling of arches thing anyway!,i just grinded off 5mm on mine and its been sweet!
lthough i also had to grind half the rear bumper bolts down!,got half moon bolts now!,lol!

Loving the GT beau,a bargain!

But the 17's av gotta go on the SX,looks class with the grey paint job!
