Easiest way to remove the pipes of a throttle body, any hints. Proving to be a ball ache!

undone the clips, its just pulling them, im starting to break the pipes

I know exactly what youre on about Dave! They're so bloody tight its a joke:bang:!. I seem to remember trying to prise em off with a flat screwdriver and just snipping some and goin down the tat yard to replace em(y)

Good idea! but aint the alternator and starter motor directly underneath? Would all that water going on em be ok?:confused:
 
you live in ENGLAND!!! it rains all the freaking time, do you really believe none of that rain goes into your engine bay as you drive thru the wind and persistant heavy rain!!!
yes the alternator will get wet, but its no biggy. just be sure to run the engine soon afterward to dry it out. or cover it up with a plastic bag etc
